With his cold words
He hurt her
They gave each other their word
And yet, he hurt her
His words still haunt her
she wishes for peace
She’s so hurt
Her vision blurs
Her hopes of freedom decrease
He can’t take back what he said
He knows
She’s not one to forget
He knows
But, will she forgive
Who knows?
