Sideways glances,
Superstition in the air.
Bravery rises,
With pattering feet,
Squeaky voice.

Masks everywhere
Hiding faces.
Smell of soap,
Antigerm,
On every hand,
On everything,
With superstition.
It’s spreading,
Jumping around,
Clouding judgement,
Placing fear,
From a single cough.
