I will never know how they feel
They may be my age, but they have been through the unthinkable
Some are forced to leave their home countries
Some leave alone, they leave everything they have found comfort in
Some are unjustly killed, removed from life without permission
I will never know how they feel, as they are ripped from their loved ones
I will never know their heartbreak
As they are a part of the global refugee crisis
