I walked into the room
With a sensation covered to lots of things
And my mom gave me the news
I'm not going to school anymore
I'm going to be homeschooled
At first I thought
That she was saying lies
But then she got serious.
I didn’t know what to say
I was scared, and nervous
Then came the day
That I had to tell my friends.
At first they weren’t buying it
But then they did, and got sad
That we weren’t going to see eachother again
Even though nothing is forever
Maybe one day I’ll go back and be with
Them again. Summer is right around the corner
And the fact that I wasn’t going to see them
Just hit me but I'll be ready for next summer.
