Holding it quietly on my lips,
is something from within.
I claim it to be my heart's calling.
Inside of me, it not only lives,
it grows on my skin.
Others can’t really see its tender strokes.
They can’t really make sense out of me loving it the most.
How it made the darkest nights,
brighter than all the sunshine.
How every now and then,
It made me find myself, again.
So, days come by and fade in time.
Changes sweep in;
pushing away everything in an instance
and I am left in situations
which leave me stranded.
But it holds every inch of me together,
till the very end.
My sleepless nights and hazy mornings,
all come back to it.
