If there is one advantage that animals have over us humans
It is that they treat each other with dignity and respect
A concept that is so foreign to us
that it is pitiable.
Despite being the only “intelligent” life form on this planet,
We fail to grasp this essential part of life.

Since the dawn of civilization
Humankind has been segregating society
Fabricating boundaries between a species that was created equal
Treating our fellow beings with such disdain
That it strips them of all their happiness and joy.
They lose not only all sense of self worth and pride
But also something far more valuable -
Their dignity.
