Philautia, the hardest type of love.
Am I being selfish? Do I deserve to have it?
My mirror tells me to hate what I see,
My mind is slowly convinced but unwilling to admit.
I have no control over the voice inside my head,
She’s the creator of my insecurities.
“You’re not worthy of confidence,
Focus on fixing your impurities.”
When can I stop living like this?
I want to be free.
But doubt and warriness surround me because
Philautia, the hardest type of love for me.
